Kornel Földvari

April 1^st is All Fools' Day. For 21 years, it has been the day of the opening of the exhibition displaying the Golden Keg competition contributions in Slovakia. The Golden Keg is the contest of caricatures dedicated to the topic of beer. Its founder Fedor Vico is an internationally renowned caricature artist based in the eastern Slovak town of Presov. Out of 318 pictures, the Grand Prix of this year was handed over to Gabriel Rusu from Romania right on April the 1st.

Speaking about caricatures, let us now recall the memories of the recently passed away humor theorist Kornel Földvari who had for over 50 years dedicated his work also to the world of caricatures.
