In an effort to improve both research results and the public image of Slovakia's Academy of Sciences, a panel of foreign experts is being compiled. Along with other recent steps the Academy has undertaken, this latest move could boost the chances of vital research grants - from both home and abroad. Gavin Shoebridge has more.
