Slovakia joins European Space Agency

What would 1.4 million euro buy you? A few cars? A luxury apartment? Perhaps some fine art. Next question: will you get a return on your investment? This is the situation facing Slovakia, as last week it signed its membership - at long last - into an exclusive club: The European Space Agency. Slovak taxpayers are reassured however that the funds needed to buy the membership will almost entirely come back in the form of new research opportunities. Gavin Shoebridge reports.
