Summit of the European Council

Leaders of European member states are looking for a way to help Ukraine as effectively as possible at the European Council summit in Brussels. According to Prime Minister Robert Fico, military aid to Ukraine is a bilateral matter. Before leaving for the summit in Brussels, he declared that Russia will never return Crimea to Ukraine and will not leave Donbass. At the same time, Fico adds that he recognizes the territorial integrity of Ukraine and that Russia has violated international law. Part of the opposition considers these statements dangerous for Slovakia.
