The 37th International Flower Fair - Flora Bratislava 2016 - opened its gates at Incheba Expo Arena in Bratislava on Thursday, TASR learnt on the same day. Some 185 exhibitors from Slovakia, Hungary, France, Poland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands are presenting their floral and garden products and services. "This year, we've chosen Sandersonia (South Africa) as the flower of the fair. The orange bell-shaped flower is hard to find at our florists and quite unknown to public. Due to its impressive fineness, we'd like to present it to the public and teach them to nurture it correctly", said Katarína Kullová from Garden Centrum Kulla, who has organised this fair since 1993. Cut flowers, potted plants, ornamental plants, seeds, various decorative materials, fountains, agents for plant care and fertilising, irrigation systems, garden buildings and furniture, greenhouses, literature, consultations, wine and wine making equipment will be showcased at the exhibition. The event will run until Sunday (May 1).
