There cannot be smart cities without smart citizens

The concept of a "smart city" has been on many people's lips this month in Bratislava. The mayor wants to tackle the Slovak capital's already chronic issues with chaotic development that have reduced the amount of green spaces in the city. Some academics are trying to find ways to support those Slovaks who are creative and entrepreneurial, and NGOs' representatives are encouraging inhabitants to stay active and involved in the life of their city. All these stakeholders seem to agree that there cannot be smart cities without smart citizens. Who are they? Well, over the years Radio Slovakia International have talked to many of them, a healthy practice that we continue today. Meet Radoslav Mizera and his Slovak-Finnish startup.
